Professor Michael Kelly

Professor Michael E. Kelly,  FRCSI PhD, is Professor and Chair/Head of Discipline of Surgery at Trinity College Dublin and a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at the Trinity St James’s Cancer Institute. He is internationally recognized for his clinical and academic contributions to pelvic oncology, advanced and recurrent rectal cancer, and pelvic exenterative surgery.

His research programme spans clinical trials, surgical innovation, translational oncology, radiomics and radiogenomics, patient-reported outcomes, and international collaborative research. He has authored more than 300 international peer-reviewed publications, four book chapters, and numerous international presentations.
