Dr Aisling Glynn

Aisling Glynn is a Radiation Oncologist within the St Lukes’s Radiation Oncology (SLRON) based in Beaumont and Rathgar sites.
She completed her MBBCh (Hons) in Medicine in 2013 graduating from Cardiff University in Wales. She completed basic specialist training in general medicine and attained her (Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland) MRCPI qualification in 2016. She then completed a 5-year Radiation Oncology Speciality Registrar training program in Ireland and attained her fellowship with the faculty of Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2021.During her time as a trainee she was the recipient of numerous research awards and developed a passion for gastrointestinal and head and neck oncology.

She completed an observership in MR Linac at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto in 2022 and following a brief locum consultant radiation oncologist role in SLRON returned to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in 2024 to complete a prestigious research and clinical fellowship in upper and lower gastrointestinal oncology, including liver and abdominal stereotactic body radiotherapy, with leading world experts at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. In 2025 following completion of her fellowship, she returned to Ireland to take up her current post as radiation oncologist. She has a diploma in leadership and management. She has a keen interest in research and has numerous scientific publications. She has an empathic and patient centred approach to care, with an ultimate aim of improving the lives of patents living with cancer.
